How my journey began
I didn’t set out to become a mediator.
I didn’t wake up one day and decide to help people through their hardest conversations.
I arrived here the way most people arrive to work that matters—through fire, through fracture, through lived experience.
There was conflict in my own life that wasn’t held well.
There were systems I trusted that let people fall through.
There were moments I needed to be heard, and wasn’t.
Moments where silence cost more than speaking up ever could.
So I began to listen.
First to myself.
Then to others.
And eventually, to the spaces between people. Where pain lingers, and repair becomes possible.
From Lived Experience to Professional Practice
My path has woven through education, advocacy, and direct work with people navigating the court system, family conflict, institutional harm, and generational trauma. I’ve taught. I’ve led. I’ve fought for change in systems that don’t always make space for it. And through it all, I’ve stayed rooted in the belief that conflict doesn’t have to destroy us. It can grow us, if we’re given the space, support, and safety to meet it differently.
This Work Is Personal
It’s personal because I know what it’s like to survive in silence.
To be told you’re too much, or not enough.
To crave repair and fear it at the same time.
And it’s personal because I know what it feels like when someone finally makes space for your story with no judgment and no agenda.
That’s what I offer now:
A space I once needed.
A process I believe in.
A quiet kind of courage for anyone who’s ready to begin again.
Credentials & Experience
This work isn’t just something I’ve lived. It’s something I’ve studied, practiced, and committed my life to.
I hold a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Public Policy and Social Change and a Minor in Conflict Resolution, along with master’s degrees in both Political Science and Negotiation, Conflict Resolution & Peacebuilding. My academic path reflects what I believe: real transformation happens at the intersection of systems and stories.
I’ve served as a university program director, instructor, and curriculum designer—teaching future leaders, lawyers, and changemakers how to navigate conflict with emotional intelligence and social responsibility. I’ve mediated community disputes, small claims cases, family breakdowns, school-based conflicts, and court-connected referrals. I’ve led restorative justice initiatives, youth programs, and trauma-informed workshops that reach across generations and power dynamics.
This isn’t theory to me. It’s practice. And it’s always personal.
